Khan's Karahi

Tucked away in the heart of Hounslow at 352 Bath Rd, TW4 7HW, Khan's Karahi is one of those local gems you stumble upon and wonder how you ever lived without. From the minute you walk through the wheelchair-accessible entrance, you know you’re in for a proper desi dining experience - the kind that’s heavy on the spice, full of bold flavors, and generous with hospitality. It’s not flashy or over-the-top. It’s just real good food.

Let’s talk Karahi - because obviously, it’s in the name. Their Chicken Karahi and Lamb Charsi Karahi are the stars of the show. Served sizzling hot with that rich tomato-onion base, fragrant garlic, and a whole lot of heat, it’s the kind of dish that pulls you in bite after bite. Pair it with a Roghni Naan or a Plain Naan, depending on your mood, and you’ve got a solid meal. If you're dining with friends or family, the Mix Grill Platter is a must - smoky, juicy, and packed with variety, featuring everything from Lamb Chops to Chicken Tikka.

What sets Khan’s Karahi apart from other Pakistani restaurants in London isn’t just the flavor - though that's obviously a big part - it’s also the variety. Breakfast? Covered. Their Halwa Puri Meal One is comfort food at its finest - golden fried puris, semolina halwa, and chana masala to balance it out. Craving something hearty at lunch? Go for the Chicken Dum Biryani or the Full Afghan Kabli Pilao - both are packed with spices but not overpowering, and the meat is always tender.

Now, if you're just in for a quick bite or need a late-night fix, Khan's has your back too. They’re known for their late-night food offerings, which is a rare find when you’re hungry after hours. And yes, everything is halal-certified, so it’s a trusted spot for the local Muslim community.

For drinks, nothing beats a glass of Sweet Lassi or a hot Chai Tea to finish off your meal. But if you’ve got little ones or you’re in the mood for something basic, you’ll even find options like Chicken Nuggets with Crispy Fries - because let’s be honest, sometimes we all want comfort food with zero fuss.

Despite the bustling vibe, it’s surprisingly good for solo dining - the staff are welcoming, service is quick, and there’s no pressure to rush. Whether you're popping in for lunch, dinner, or a late-night takeaway, the experience is consistently satisfying. They also offer delivery and takeaway, which is ideal if you’re nearby and just want to chill at home with a box of Lahori Mix Grill and a side of Chutney.

In a city where the best halal restaurants in Hounslow can be hit or miss, Khan’s Karahi manages to stand out. It’s not just about the food - although yes, it’s fire - it’s also about the vibe, the accessibility, and the fact that they understand what the community wants. Whether you’re looking for a Pakistani breakfast spot, craving authentic Karahi dishes, or just in the mood for some solid South Asian street food vibes, this place ticks all the boxes.

And if you're someone who loves exploring desi food in West London, this spot needs to be on your radar. It’s the kind of restaurant where the Charsi Karahi steals the spotlight, but everything else on the menu puts up a strong fight for your attention.

Anytime I stay in one of the hotels on the eastern edge of Heathrow Airport on Bath Road, I see fit to get a dose of Pakistani and Afghani food at Khan's. The menu has a very large selection of dishes from Pakistan, Afghanistan and also India. Because I want to try so many dishes, I always order too much food, forgetting that the servings are enormous. The Afghani chapli appeared to be a suitable appetizer along with one vegetable samosa, but it covered an entire plate and would have been enough for 3 or 4 people. Likewise, the Pakistani chicken biryani could have fed a small family. Everything was delicious, and to drink, I had fresh-squeezed orange juice. I did not see a bar. When you stay in one of the hotels on Bath Road, get yourself down to the first strip center in Hounslow and have a meal at Khan's.

Coming from this culture I have tried the chapli kebab ( a North West Frontier Province delicacy) several times even the in NWFP. These guys have just nailed it, crispy on the outside with tenderly cooked meat on the inside. The naan is fresh from a clay oven and the taste is amazing. The salad is basic as you dont need anything else to spoil the tenderness and taste hitting your tastebuds and senses. Very good value for money I can only say go and enjoy for yourself. Simply delicious.
